In our quest to start a dialogue, we surveyed a few LGBT people and asked them what answers they would most like from those who oppose their rights as families.

Here are their questions:

1. The only question I ever have for them isn't a novel one. How can they reconcile their homophobia and racism with following the teachings of Jesus Christ? I've never gotten a satisfactory answer. -Robbin

2. How would my marriage to the person I love have any impact, let alone harm your marriage to the person you love? -Sara

3. How does our love ignite your hate? -Kristie

4. Can you imagine, for one moment, what it would be like to be denied access to your loved one when their (or your) life was in danger? How can you live with choosing to put someone else in that misery? -Riley

5. How would my having visitation rights in a hospital impact you? -John

Have you guys heard about the newest home safety device on the market ? It just came out recently.

It's like a smoke or carbon monoxide detector and it's called the 'Gaydar Begone Alert System'. It works on batteries and lets us straght folks know when you all are sneaking out of your own homes late at night, getting into our houses and "GAY-ERATING" our kids and families. It disintigrates our carefully established morality when you do that! Bad gay people!

That's how you do it right ? ??? How else could people turn gay so suddenly and frequently ??

ps. I think I saw a follow up article where they were considering making it a nationwide thing - something like an Amber alert system for homosexuality.

I have to be honest I guess - I love my gay friends but it DOES get a bit irritating when you people keep sneaking around like you do and turning straight people gay when we aren't looking. We have to keep changing back over and over again. Its frustrating and we get very confused.

Sounds like you're having an identity crisis. How is it that gay people "turn" straight people gay? Either you are or you're not. Sounds like you are confused. Maybe you need a map to find that closet doorknob ....

I was JOKING........lol. Of course you can't turn us gay although apparently some people believe you have those kind of super'gay'powers or you wouldn't be such a scary group of citizens.
